muse creativity coven is a permissive space to be in relationship to the creative process through the lens of sensuality and the nervous system.

 creativity is a birthright.

So many of us long to be creative. Even if we don’t identify as artists or writers or we haven’t spent hours honing a craft…

There is a beautiful, intrinsic longing to create that is very human.

Creativity is not about being productive or following rules. Creativity is a form of playfulness. It gets to be an organic wild impulse - a movement of energy. Something feral and sensual, or soft and so close to home.

You don’t have to be conventionally talented (whatever that means) to create.

You can do it for the sake of joy and pleasure.

if you have been waiting for a permission slip and/or space to play within and be nourished by the realms of your creativity and sensuality, this is for you.

BUT WHY IS IT SO HARD for us to connect to our creativity?

So many things get in the way. Systemic capitalism  bases our worth off productivity and causes us to feel guilty about play and creation.

Systems of oppression and harm have cut us off from our bodies, our joy, and from collaboration. Then there is the big P of PERFECTIONISM which is so intrinsically connected to these systems.

Let me say more about perfectionism, and the fear of failure. Or the fear of even beginning if it is not perfect. Often this perfectionism is so deeply rooted and ingrained that we may not even notice it is there, we just wonder :

  • Why it feels like something is defectively wrong with us

  • We may have a hard time finishing any creative project or even making time for one.

  • We may regard our own work with so much criticism that it sucks the joy out of the creative process.

  • We may endlessly compare ourselves to others and think our work doesn’t match up.

This is not just an individual situation! Often this is connected to the systems I named above and they have deep roots in our bodies and nervous systems.

This is why when attempting to revive the creative process, it’s helpful to approach with softness and somatic awareness.

We can slowly begin to create more spaciousness and permission around our creativity. We can enter creative spaces TOGETHER and experience the healing power of support, accountability and acceptance.

The energy that was stuck in perfectionism can thaw and move through as as precious gifts.

We can USE the energy of our pain, darkness and longing to generate creative gems + offerings.

We can begin to re-establish a relationship with the creative, sensual, erotic parts of ourselves; with messiness and play…

And in this process we may witness even more of ourselves coming alive again.

This is what I deeply want for the world: for people to feel permission to explore their creative and sensual capacities - to express their unique and wild and weird ideas and thoughts and make them into art.

this is for you if:

you identify as a woman, non-binary, trans or queer person and :::

>> you want to explore and/or deepen your relationship to creativity*

>> you feel held back by perfectionism or self doubt in the creative process

>> you want to experience SUPPORT for your creative endeavors in the human and non human realm

>> you want to find more ease and flow, and less “forcing” energy in the creative process

>> you want to learn tools + context for alchemizing painful experiences into creative offerings

>> you want to feel more in touch with your body, sensuality and eroticism

>> you want to feel more safety and ease in sharing your creative offerings with the world.

creativity and sensuality

I have a theory that creativity feeds sensuality and vice versa. That when we tap into one we are also tapping into the other.

Creative and sensual energy both feed beauty, and life. They are life-giving. In this course we will explore how cultivating erotic energy contributes to our creativity and how feeding our creativity imbues our life with sensuality.

Course Themes:

  • foundations of the nervous system

  • courting + being in relationship with the muse

  • dismantling perfectionsim

  • creativity + somatics with Madison Abdallah

  • cycles + rest within the creative process

  • sensual movement exploration with Amani Minter

  • courting the divine through art

  • creativity as a spiritual pursuit

  • the art of creative “channeling”

  • mysticism, dreaming and the subconscious

Rosalie Amber Grace - host/curator

Hi! I’m Rosalie. I’m a Fertility Awareness Educator, poet, beekeeper, somatic student and devotee. I’ve been channeling the deep waters of my feelings into poetry and writing since I could hold a pen. I’m an apprentice to the creative process, and a student of the nervous system. I am in devotion to the miraculous wisdom and aliveness held in the body. I’m a sensual explorer and mystic. I love nothing more than using art, somatic awareness and the senses as a path to experience divinity.

I recently published a poetry book which was a hard and beautiful process of overcoming my perfectionism and fear of being seen and presenting the world with an alchemy of my creative process over the past few years.

Now I really want to create a space for creatives to be held in exploring and nourishing their relationship to their creativity through a sensual and somatic lens.
